Overview:
The Department of LIBRARY SCIENCE launched its journey in Academic Session 2023-2026 as Honours subject. There are at present 32 sanctioned seats for Honours. This is a professional course which has better job opportunities in various libraries and other sectors of the society. This program’s curriculum and instructional framework are superior. With an emphasis on the use of information technology and advanced library services, the program’s curriculum and pedagogical framework are created to meet the ever-evolving demands of the library industry as well as the new demands of the library profession. Now, this course is operating effectively and in a positive academic setting.
